After having grown up in South Korea, San Francisco, CA, and Ann Arbor, MI, I found myself in Seattle, WA at the University of Washington pursuing a B.A. in English Literature and a minor in Education, Learning and Society (ELS).
While in school, I worked for the undergraduate library’s Writing & Research Center as a Writing Consultant. I also worked for Bright Horizons as a Support Teacher. After graduating, I continued to work for Bright Horizons, becoming a Lead Teacher for one of the infant rooms while still pursuing a career in writing.
Then the good ol’ pandemic hit, changing plans, so I pivoted to becoming a nanny which I did until about mid-2022. Then, I became a Leasing Consultant and finally, a Copywriter. It took a while to get to where I am today as a writer, but I am so grateful for the journey that led me here. It goes to show that good things take time and I’m so happy with where I am.
When I’m not working, you might find me hiking with my husband and our puppy, Penny, fighting with a sewing machine, or making digital art on my iPad. I love listening to the “Let’s Go to Court” podcast and baking for friends. I’m a huge advocate for therapy and setting healthy boundaries in every aspect of life. It’s important to take care of yourself.
Now that you know a little bit about me, I’d love to learn about you! Feel free to reach out and let’s connect soon! :)
